169 looking at the dead, allowed? Is it haraam to see the face of a dead person (namahram)? If so could you please explain the logic behind this. I personally think that their is never a chance of attraction from either side. The dead man/woman cannot see the one viewing the face; and the person viewing the face is only seeing for the purpose to get closer to allah. I belive that seeing the face helps a person have stronger emotions which allows reflection of oneself and imaginging oneself in that state; therefore leading to fear of allah swt. Please elaborate. Thank you

243 Muslims buried in non-Muslim graveyards The Muslim communities in non-Muslim countries are increasing day by day.

Knowing the fact that a deceased Muslim will one day be buried in the graveyard of non-Muslims either because of lack of funds available to the family to send the dead body to Muslim countries for burial or because of negligence; so, is it obligatory, as a matter of wãjib kifã’i, upon the capable Muslims to buy a graveyard for the Muslims?

513 Can the dead see us? Can those who have passed away see us? I used to think they could and I would take encouragement from the fact that my grandma can see me. It motivated me to do what would have pleased her. And gave me comfort. But recently I found out that they can’t see us. Is that true?

624 husbands death My husband was mentaly ill for the last 11 years in and out of mental hospitals in the United States. He wnet to Lebanon and got off his medication and very sick. For 6 months we begged his relatives to give him help, they refused. I could not taravel to Lebanon have 4 small kids and no passport. Finaly his brother came from Europe and put him in a mental hospital. We informed him the meicaiton he needed he had been on for the last 10 years. The brother hid him away in a mental hospital for 1 month and I had no contact with my husband. The brother called and told me he died from heart attack in the hospital he was 45 years old. He told me the medication he was forced to take at the hospital-my husband tried to refuse they said take it or you won't get out. My children and I hold the brother responsible for putting him in a Free goverment hospital. I clearly told them over and over all he needs his is medication and he will be normal in a few days. He only needs the medication that he took for the last ten years. My husband went to sleep and never woke up in the hospital. We have been married almost 20 years. All the time during our marrage he did not have contact with his relatives in Lebanon he did not trust them. My husband was a good faithful muslim. What is your opinion regarding his death? me and the 4 children are in terrbiel pain from the loss of our dear hsuband/father. Also, my husband had a will with me. the relatives went ahead and buried him in Lebanon without asking about his will. I told them he had a will and they did not care. thank you salam

780 IMAM ALI Assalaamu alaikum Brother in Islam

Iam a Sunni Brother! Will you tell me what Islamic history speaks about where exactly Hazrat Imam Ali(r.a)was buried then what u have to say about Rawze-e-Sharif, the Blue Mosque, in Mazari Sharif, Afghanistan - Where a minority of Shi’ahs believe Ali ibn Abi Talib is buried,,Its Najaf or the Blue Mosque in Mazarsharif? Can you shed some light..I believe as a Sunni that Hazrat Imams spriritual presence is present at every Shrine of a WALI in India. Nobody becomes a Wali without knowing Ali..as Muhammad sallahu alaihi wasallam is the city of knowledge and Ali is the Gate way to that knowledge.
