'Prophet David (AS) left for the desert by himself, so Allah revealed to him, ?O David, why is it that I see you by yourself?' He said, ?O Allah, my yearning for meeting You has become extreme, and has become an obstruction between me and Your creation.' So, Allah revealed to him, 'Return to them, for if you bring me a runaway servant I will inscribe you in the Tablet as prai.sed.?

This is the story of Abdullah an-Nasrani; an Christian who had turned to Islam; who was to get married around the Day of Ashura. On account of his sincerety and pureness of heart; he heard the cry of Imam Husayn on the plain of Karbala; when he was being massacred with his family and companions.

Abdullah; then makes a journey to Karbala from his town (near to Kufa). This is the story (dramatization) of his journey, and what he sees; This is in Farsi with English Subtitles
