The Holy Saint Mary

Pearl of Wisdom

when someone said to him, 'Verily you are greedy for the caliphate', he Leadership () replied, 'Rather, you are, by Allah, greedier and more remote, while I am more suited as well as more qualified for it. I have only demanded it as a right that is mine, while you are intervening between me and it, and you are keeping me away from it ... 'O Allah, I appeal to you for assistance against the Quraysh and all those who have aided them, for verily they have denied me the rights of kinship, lowered my high position, and have grouped together to challenge what is rightfully mine.'

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib [as]

Nahj al-Balagha, Sermon 172

The Holy Saint Mary

The Blessed Saint Mary (Maryam al-Muqaddasa) is a sensational film of the life of Saint Mary, the Virgin mother of Jesus, based on classical Islamic texts.
The film begins with the birth of Mary and ends with the birth of Jesus, skilfully recreating the major events which Mary went through as well as that of Prophet Zachariah, Mary's guardian and a righteous Prophet of God.
This two hour presentation is a glorious illustration and depiction of the lofty station held by Mary in Islam, as well as the great stature of Prophet Zacharias.
