Pearl of Wisdom

to 'Affan al-Ba ri, 'Do you know the reason for the name Qum?' ['Affan] replied, 'Allah, His Messenger, and you know better.' He said, 'It was named Qum because .ispeople will meet with the of the family of Muhammad, peace be upon him; they will rise with him, stay with him, and support him.'

O Allah let me be, in this month, from among those who turn repentant and ask forgiveness for their sins; let me be from among those who do good and obey (Thee); let me be from among those who are Thy close friends, through Thy kindness O the Most Merciful.
