'Khidr was a sent prophet. Allah Almighty sent him to his people, to call them to His Oneness and to acknowledge the prophets, messengers and their scriptures. His miracle was that any time he sat on dry wood or barren land, greenery would sprout from it, and this is why he was called Khidr.?
