Pearl of Wisdom

'When Noah (AS) planted a seed a group of people walked by him and started to laugh and mock him, saying, 'He has now become a gardener!' When the palm tree grew and became great and high, he cut it down and worked it, and they said, 'He has become a carpenter!' He then made these into a boat, and a group of people came by, laughing and mocking, saying to him, 'He has now become a sailor in the desert of the earth!', until he finished [building] it.?

Question : #724 Category: Ahl ul Bayt / Imams
Subject: proper ediqueete
Question: Salaam Alaikum,

I wish to speak to the Infalliables (AS) to act as my intercessor. In doing so, how do I convey my utmost respect to them when asking for this special favour? Lastly, can I make a promise to them in exchange for their intercession? If so, what would you consider based only on your opinion to be a noble exchange for such a favour bestowed upon me?

Many thanks,

Arif
Answer: Alaykum Salaam,

A sincere supplication will surely be accepted by Allah, and in your instance, I recommend Al-Sahifat al-Sajjadiyya (The Psalms of Islam) for the best of supplications for your niyats
