Pearl of Wisdom

Imam al-Rida (AS) constantly recited the Qur'an in his bed at night during the path to Khurasan. When he would read a verse that mentioned Heaven or Hell, he would cry and ask Allah for Heaven or seek refuge from Hell.'

Question : #724 Category: Ahl ul Bayt / Imams
Subject: proper ediqueete
Question: Salaam Alaikum,

I wish to speak to the Infalliables (AS) to act as my intercessor. In doing so, how do I convey my utmost respect to them when asking for this special favour? Lastly, can I make a promise to them in exchange for their intercession? If so, what would you consider based only on your opinion to be a noble exchange for such a favour bestowed upon me?

Many thanks,

Arif
Answer: Alaykum Salaam,

A sincere supplication will surely be accepted by Allah, and in your instance, I recommend Al-Sahifat al-Sajjadiyya (The Psalms of Islam) for the best of supplications for your niyats
