Subject: eating food of Khoha Ismaili
Question: Salaam Alayqum,

Being a shia ithnaesher are we allowed to eat food which is cooked or served by a khoja ismaili, as we having lots of doubts and topics on this issue.
Please help us so to avoid the misunderstandings

Answer: Wa alaikum assalam

Isma'ilis are considered as Muslims, and hence eating their slaughtered food is halal and tahir, as long as they observe correct procedure according to the Shar'.
