Pearl of Wisdom

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) once asked a man, 'Who do you consider a fata?' to which the man replied, 'A young man.' Imam said, 'No, afata is a believer, for verily the Companions of the Cave were middle-aged men, yet Allah called them fitya [plural of fata] because of their belief.'

Question : #386 Category: Women's Issues
Subject: cream preventing water?
Question: Is cream a barrier to water reaching the skin, and if so should it be removed prior to wudhu and ghusl?
Answer: Apparently the effect left on the skin after it is applied is nothing but just moisture, and so it does not constitute a barrier to water reaching the skin.
