Pearl of Wisdom

'How wonderful for a Muslim that Allah does not ordain a fate for him unless it is good for him, even if he was to be cut with scissors it would be for his benefit, and even if he was to own the east side of the world and the west, it would be for his good.'

Imam Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq [as]
al-Kafi, v. 2, p. 62, no. 8

Question : #386 Category: Women's Issues
Subject: cream preventing water?
Question: Is cream a barrier to water reaching the skin, and if so should it be removed prior to wudhu and ghusl?
Answer: Apparently the effect left on the skin after it is applied is nothing but just moisture, and so it does not constitute a barrier to water reaching the skin.
