Question : #328 Category: Social Interaction
Subject: urge to commit sin
Question: Im a 19 year old boy.. Since childhood i have been interested in girls, but i used to avoid all this cuz its a sin in islam..bt since my teenage, i have been feeling an urge to have a companion with whom i can share my feelings, thoughts be happy with. my intention is pure, i dont want to have a partner for just sexual reasons, but because i feel too alone.. my younger friends brothers have such partners..what is the solution for this problem??
Answer: It is absolutely Haraam to have intimate friendship or relationship with other sex, but only in the frame of Mut'ah marriage or permanent marriage.

If you feel that you need to have a female friend, then you must enter into a Mut'ah Agreement with her which can have condition of no sexual relationship if she wants to avoid that. Such condition can be removed whenever she wants.

We must control over our desires to avoid Satanic deeds, and that is the main differenece between the Believer and non beleiver. Non believers follow their desires forgetting about Allah (SWT) and the Hereafter, while the Believer remembers Allah (SWT) and Hereafter, and avoids sinful acts.

It a struggle between us and Satan, and we should not be weak in front of Satan, because Satan itself is weak as Allah (SWT) says in Quran(Surely, the evil effort of Shaitan is weak).)(An Nisaa:76).
