Pearl of Wisdom

?O Allah! You know that what we did was neither to compete for power nor to acquire anything from the vanities of the world. Rather we only wanted to restore the original characteristics of Your religion and to usher prosperity into Your lands, so that the oppressed from among Your servants may be safe and that Your abolished commands may be reestablished.'

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib [as]
Ibid. Sermon 131

Question : #261 Category: Taharat / Najasat
Subject: how to purify urine on cloths
Question: Assuming a drop of urine comes into contact with one’s body or clothes and thus najisates it, how may one purify one’s body/clothes in such cases?
Answer: After the elimination of the concrete najāsah (from the body/clothes), the body/clothes ought to be washed either
(a) twice with qalīl water in which case they will be deemed pure once the (second) used water is removed or
(b) once with kurr water so that the kurr water contacts and passes through all the najis area.
