Pearl of Wisdom

when asked, 'Does a believer hate it when his soul is being taken?', said, 'By Allah no, when the angel of death comes to him to take his soul he will be anguished and the angel of death will say, ?O friend of Allah, do not worry, because by He who sent Muhammad (SAWA) I am more compassionate and caring for you than a merciful father if he was to be with you. Open your eyes and see.' He said, 'And the Messenger of Allah, the Commander of the Faithful, Fatima, Hasan and Husayn and the Imams after him will all appear and it will be said to him, 'This is the Messenger of Allah and....your friends...and there will be nothing more beloved to this person than for his soul to leave and meet the caller.'

Question : #155 Category: Salaat / Prayers
Subject: missed salahs
Question: What is the ruling on missed salahs? Can you combine them?
Answer: Bismillah

Salaam Alaikum. Inshallah this finds you well. I'm not sure what you mean by combining salahs. Let me give you a brief explanation of what our responsibility is regarding missed prayers. Any prayer that we're sure we've missed we need to make up. This means if we aren't sure how many prayers we've missed or we aren't sure of missing a particular prayer or not, we don't need to worry about making it up.
Once we've come up with the number of prayers we've missed, we need to set a side a time to make these prayers up on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. It shouldn't be such that we are careless about our missed prayers. Also, we need to make sure that if we miss a prayer from now on, that we make it up on the same day so we don't have any more adding on what we've previously missed.
Lastly, we have got to make up every single prayer we've missed. There is no way of performing a prayer that would count as to or more prayers.
