Pearl of Wisdom

'Verily when Allah, Blessed and most High, will wish to deal with the believer's account, He will give him his book in his right hand and will then take him to account for all that is between him and Himself, and will say, my servant, you have committed such and such and have done such and such!' and he will reply, 'Yes, my Lord, I have done that.' And Allah will say, 'I have forgiven you for them and have transformed them into good deeds', so people will ask, 'Glory be to Allah, did this man not have a single evil deed?!' and this is the purport of Allah's verse: Then as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he shall soon receive an easy reckoning, and he will return to his folks joyfully. ?

Question: I would like to ask one question related to spiritual illness.

if a person has a mental illness and because it, he can not perform his obligations easily.

is there any special dua for curing this type of illness.

Thanks
Answer: An invocation for mental disorder, it's narrated by Uthman b. Said al-Qattan narrated from Sadan b. Muslim related from Muhammad b. Ibrahim, who said: A man came to Abd Allah, peace be upon him, said: Recite this prayer when you go to bed:

In the Name of Allah, and by Allah, I believe in Allah, and disbelieve in the idols. O Allah, protect me in my sleep and my wakening. I take refuge in the Might of Allah and His Magnificence from that which I suffer and fear. The man said: I did it and was cured, by the will of Allah, the Exalted.

From him, peace be upon him, that he said: Whoever is afflicted with a mental disorder, let him seek protection on Thursday night with this healing, beneficial invocation. Then he mentioned the like of the previous hadith and said: It will not recur. Recite that at dawn after seeking forgiveness from Allah, and after completing the night prayer.
